About Fur, Feathers, and Fins

Fur, Feathers, & Fins is owned and operated by DeeGee Gassett who, in addition to having a life long passion for animals is a member of Pet Sitters International. DeeGee earned her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management from Columbus State University in December 1999. We are bonded and insured, and we have references available. We also have veterinary references and referrals available upon request.
We started our pet sitting service as an alternative to boarding. Research shows that animals are more comfortable in a familiar environment. We understand the special relationship between you and your pet, and our focus is to provide your pet with the best care and attention possible until you return home. Our service allows your pet to remain in their home while owners are away. We will visit your home on a schedule determined by you. We can take care of your pet while you are on vacation or if you are away on business. We can also assist you with your pet care needs should you become injured or incapacitated. If you commute a great distance to work, we can also be there for your "little friends".	Rufus
Our services include daily litter maintenance as well as exercise for dogs and cats. We offer a dog walking service while you are away, or if you have an appointment that does not allow you to give them the proper exercise for the day. Our services also include complimentary mail and newspaper pickup, plant care and home security checks so that your residence will have the "lived-in" look while you are away.
Our services are not limited to dogs and cats. We offer service to any pet whether big or small. A pet sitter will allow you peace of mind knowing that your "friends" are safe and comfortable in their own surroundings. When you chose us as your pet care provider, we will come to your home for an initial interview to meet your pets and become familiar with the information about their needs. At this time we will gather important, detailed information about your pet like the name of your veterinarian and contact information in case of emergency. We will also collect the key to your home if requested.	Elvis
