Murphy

Murphy was rescued from under an office building in Woodbury, GA in 1998. He was only a few weeks old at the time and he had to fed with a bottle. He loves fetching tinfoil balls and playing with his kitty toys.
Murphy was diagnosed with feline hypertension in early 2000. This caused him to loose his sight for a couple of days. Although rare in young cats, hypertension can cause a sudden onset of retinal blindness. We first noticed that his pupils were totally dilated and then noticed that he would bump into things and trip over our feet. Fortunately, our vet was able to find the problem and give him medication to lower his blood pressure. Murphy has an active life despite taking his "kitty high blood pressure medicine" twice a day.
We adopted Lady from a friend in January 1998. She spends most of her time sleeping although she loves to be held. Her favorite place to catch a cat nap is on the back of the couch.

Salem

Oscar

We found Salem and Oscar near an abandoned mobile home. They were just kittens when we first met, so we would take them kitten food and water every afternoon. After a few months, we decided to adopt both of them.

Salem is a shy kitty, but she loves attention. She loves to nip lightly at the back of your leg when she wants to be noticed.

Oscar enjoys relaxing in his window cat bed and lounging in our lap when he gets the chance.

Roxy and Buddy were rescued from an abandoned house in 1999. We fed them every day for a few months until we gained their trust.

Roxy loves to splash around in her wading pool and wrestle with Buddy and Jack.

Buddy enjoys digging  holes and chasing Roxy around the back yard.

We met Jack through a client and immediately fell in love with him. We were fortunate enough to adopt him in February 2001.  Jack is very active as is the case with Jack Russell Terriers.  He loves to play with Buddy and Roxy. When he is not snoozing in his dog bed you can usually find him throwing his stuffed toys around in the air for you to catch. .His favorite past time is riding in the car.

(Funny how all of these pictures show their tongues hanging out)

Cleo

Mouse

Maggie

On May 11, 2000, Salem had Cleo, Mouse, and Maggie..We were going to find homes for all three kitties, but we grew too attached to them. So here they are, the three musketeers: Cleo, Mouse, and Maggie.

We enjoy watching them play together, and they really give our "older" kitties a run for their money.
